At Wrong Turn at Albuquerque, we purposely don’t talk politics or religion. It’s just not what our goal is. There are plenty of other places online and off where those things can be discussed.
That being said, it would be ridiculous to pretend that what’s going on in our country right now doesn’t bring up a lot of emotion, especially for women who have ever been victims of sexual assault at any level.
From us to you, we want you to know that you are beautiful and valid and worthy and whole just as you are and regardless of anything that might have ever happened to you. If you have a story that you haven’t been able to share before or that you need to share again, please know that we offer a supportive community in which to do so. If you’re worried about privacy, we would invite you to join our closed Facebook group The Sisterhood at Wrong Turn at Albuquerque.
Shine on, you diamonds! We love you all!
PS. As always, we welcome your comments but please leave politics out of it.
