So much can be said about this woman that it’s hard to know where to start. Author, poet, songwriter, singer, dancer, activist, lecturer, and the list goes on and on. Though her “tribe” by birth was small (she had just one sibling and one child), her circle of friends and family of choice was broad. And she knew a thing or two about love. All kinds of it.
Whether it is the love shared between parent and child, between lovers, between friends, or just the passion one feels for their career or cause of choice, she nailed it when she said that love recognizes no barriers. If it’s true and if it’s real, nothing can stop it.
